Mega Bloks Halo UNSC Cryo Bay - 97088 Review

This is Mega Bloks Halo UNSC Cryo Bay and it's set 97088 with officially 72 pieces and they always include more pieces than they officially stated. This is the beginning of the campaign scene, the story-line for the Halo 4 video game. It's where the master chief comes out of his Cryo Bay.

Include with the set is one Master Chief figure and the UNSC Cryo Bay. 

The one and only mini figure is the official master chief which painted as dark green armor, black in jumpsuit and details, and gold visor. 

On the side of the UNSC Cryo Bay is the race control panel which has radar and a UNSC logo printed on. 

In the back is a weapon’s rack where you can display multiple weapons. The weapon's rack contain of mandatory assault rifle, battle Riffle and a sticky detonator all in black color.

In the front is the Cryo tube and a plate which display’s Spartan vitals and the UNSC printed logo.


 
It is the current tube use by Master Chief, the 16 tube with blue transparent window and black printed on details. The interior is just enough to fit-in the Master Chief and has an opening and closing hatch.

In the front of 16 tube is a rotatable tiny version of Cortana come in a light blue transparent color figure and nicely built. There is a little-bit of face detail. They actually captured her shape pretty well including the head. You well see just a very little-bit of her nose and also the hair which separately defined in the moldings. It's really nicely done figure.

This is a handful of pieces that put together. Though, most of this is one assembly, it's just a few thing that go together. You can see it fits in there. It fits very well, good scale and looks like just how this figure is pretty well.


The Master Chief  is very appropriate, the shape, colors and everything. The angles and details are pretty good and just right. It is a little bit of a semi-gloss black-washed which gave it little-bit oily looks unfortunately. I wish they use more like matte color. Other than that, this is the easiest and most convenient way to get the official figure for Halo.
